What Sets Us Apart?

One of the main things we stress to students is that the world is filled with qualified applicants who are applying to the same positions they are.  We push them to build their resume and cover letters through gaining valuable experience that will help set them apart from the crowd.  We here at the Career Center also understand that we need to set ourselves apart by providing unique experiences for our students to give them a leg up on the competition.  Over the last year, we have implemented a series of very successful, major-specific Career Fairs.  We have an employer relations team that recruits employers to come on campus as well as a talented group of professional career counselors who help prepare our students for these events.

The results of these strategic fairs have been incredible!  We have heard from employer after employer about how well prepared our students are to move directly into full-time positions at their companies.  During the fall semester we have led a fair for our Engineering, Business, Communications, and Religion students.  We are looking forward to doing even more during the Spring semester.

We appreciate your interest in recruiting our students.  Please take the time to look below at our current fair schedule and take a moment to sign up for any fairs you are interested in attending.  Thank you so much for working with us here at the Liberty University Career Center.

Not Able To Attend A Fair?

We understand that due to other commitments, distance, or other issues all employers may not be able to attend a Career Fair.  This leads us to offering other services that can help you as an employer find a qualified Liberty student to fill each of your open positions.  One of the ways we do this is through LUNETWORK.  This program is an online database that allows employers and students to connect.  All you have to do as an employer, is go on to LUNETWORK and post your positions.  Our students will see your postings and respond as you suggest in your profile (through email, phone, or through the system).  Please email lunetwork@liberty.edu for further instructions on how to post your positions on LUNETWORK.

Another thing we offer here at the Career Center are Information Sessions.  These bring the more value than Career Fairs and LUNETWORK to your company.  These involve you as an employer coming to campus and renting a classroom to speak to students about your mission, vision, and opportunities.  The best thing about doing an Information Session is that we will do the advertising for you!  We market these events first to faculty and staff, then we allow students to RSVP for any remaining seats.  Please email lunetwork@liberty.edu if you are interested in coming to campus for an Information Session.
