Educational Experience

Dr. Kevin Heisey comes to Liberty University after serving as the Graduate Coordinator at the State University of New York (SUNY) College at Cortland, where he was a faculty member from 2002 until his arrival over the summer of 2011. Heisey served as a lecturer in the Economics Department from 2002-2007. He was promoted to the rank of Assistant Professor and relocated to a position in the Sport Management Department beginning fall semester of 2007. In the fall of 2008, Heisey was promoted to the position of International Graduate Coordinator, and susequently coordinator over all sport management graduate programs beginning December of 2010.


Sport Industry Experience

Heisey competed in wrestling at the NCAA level and as a member of the United States Air Force wrestling team. He was an assistant coach at the college level and worked as an administrator and clinician for high school and youth clubs and clinics.


Personal

Heisey and his wife Kristina live in Lynchburg and attend Brentwood Church.
