Dr. Stacy Hall taught special education and physical education on the middle school and high school levels prior to beginning his career in collegiate athletics. During that time, he served as head baseball coach, assistant football coach and assistant basketball coach at the high school level. He worked as a teaching assistant at Georgia Southern teaching activity classes, and also has experience as an adjunct professor teaching sport managment at Florida State University. He currently works full time as Director of Grant Development and Assistant Professor of Sport Management at Truett-McConnell College, as well as an adjunct faculty member with Liberty University.
Hall has spent 17 years working in sports marketing, sponsorship sales and multimedia management, all on the collegiate level. He has worked for Host Communications, ISP Sports and IMG College while managing multimedia rights for 13 different universities and conferences within the ACC, SEC and Sun Belt. Hall has also been responsible for corporate sales training, national digital sales and new business development. In his last year with IMG College, Hall served as Conference Vice President where he oversaw the multimedia rights to 11 different properties within the SEC that exceeded $114 million in sales annually while managing a sales and operations team of nearly 80 full-time employees. In 2011, IMG College named him Manager of the Year. Hall has served on the senior athletics management team at the University of Houston as well as Vanderbilt University. Previous roles include: Assistant Director of Baseball Operations at Georgia Southern University, Athletics Marketing Assistant at Florida State University, Director of Sales and Broadcasting at Florida State University for Host Communications, General Manager at University of Houston for ISP Sports and General Manager at Vanderbilt University for ISP Sports.
Hall earned a Bachelor of Science in physical education from East Carolina, a Master of Science in Sport Management from Georgia Southern University and a Doctor of Philosophy in Sports Administration from Florida State University. Hall is from Raleigh, N.C., but currently resides in northern Georgia. His wife, Ivy, is co-founder and executive vice president for Initials, Inc. – one of the nation’s fastest growing direct sales companies, and recently featured on ABC’s Good Morning America and in Woman’s Day Magazine. They have two children. They attend Bethlehem Baptist Church where Hall serves as deacon and part-time Sunday school teacher. He serves on the Board of Directors for Habersham County United Way and is active with area recreation teams and scouting.
