Courses offer students an interdisciplinary approach to management, providing intensive study in social and ethical issues, faith and ministry integration, legal issues, economics, marketing organization and administration and research strategies.
The 36-hour degree program offers two tracks – a thesis and non-thesis (internship) track. The program has 21 hours of core classes and offers 9 hours of specialization, in either Sport Administration or Outdoor Recreation Management and 6 hours of thesis/non-thesis (internship) classes.
The program is designed for students who hold a bachelor's degree in sport management or a related discipline, and desire to complete a master's level program in sport management. Each specialization track will challenge students to analyze, evaluate and draw new interpretations, while also preparing them to enter the market place.
