Biography

Melanie Cox is originally from Winston-Salem, N.C., and attended Elon University in Elon, N.C.  In 2009, Cox and her family went on a mission’s trip to Thailand where they evangelized to Chinese tourists. Cox enjoys interacting with students and works hard to ensure that their experience within the Sport Management program is positive and beneficial to their future.   

Personal

In 1984, Cox moved to Virginia and currently resides in Goode, Va., with her husband Barry and two sons, Zack and Alex. Zack Cox attends Liberty and is studying business management. Cox enjoys spending time with her family and attending her sons’ sporting events. She attends and is involved in Beulah Baptist Church in Lynchburg.
