Praxis II:  Special Education:  Core Knowledge and Mild to Moderate Applications (5543)

As of the 9/15/2012 Gate 3 deadline, Praxis II:  Special Education:  Core Knowledge and Mild to Moderate Applications (5543) is now required for Special Education candidates.  This also applies to candidates who are listed as having a DUAL endorsement.  The 5543 Praxis II is being offered in the online format on specific dates.  You can register and schedule a testing appointment by visiting www.ets.org.

Candidates must submit official score sheet with the Gate 3 application.  While there is no required passing score, the test MUST be completed and documented by the applicable Gate 3 deadline.
