Purchasing tickets
Tickets may be purchased one of three ways:
- Visit the University Box Office, located in the Vines Center.
- During the week, call (434) 582-SEAT (7328). On the night of a performance, call the Tower Box Office at (434) 582-2085.
- Online by clicking here.
The University Box Office is open Monday through Friday, 10 am to 5 pm. The Tower Box Office is open 90 minutes prior to the curtain time of each show. If you require special seating accomodations, please let us know at the time of your ticket purchase. Wheelchair seating is available, and the theater is equipped with an elevator.
You may refer to the Tower Theater seating chart to choose your seats, but please note that not all seats may be available for every show.
Ticket policies
General Ticket Policies
- There are no exchanges or refunds on tickets except for inclement weather forcing the cancellation of a show.
- For musicals, latecomers will NOT be admitted once the Overture has finished. For plays, latecomers will NOT be admitted 5 minutes after the performance has started. Latecomers may wait till intermission, and then be seated.
- Refunds and/or exchanges will not be made for those arriving after curtain time.
- Tickets held at "Will Call" that are not picked up by curtain may be re-sold at the discretion of the Tower Theater Staff.
Season Ticket Information/Policies
Season Ticket holders may make their reservations for all productions at the designated reservation times before tickets go on sale to the general public. Season ticket holders will receive an e-mail on these dates requesting their reservation. Ticket holders may respond with their chosen performance date and seat number.
You may refer to the Tower Theater seating chart to choose your seats, but please note that not all seats may be available for every show.
Once a Season Ticket Package is purchased, there will be no refunds.
Season ticket holders may not purchase additional tickets when making their season ticket reservation. Season tickets holders must wait till tickets go on sale to the general public to purchase any additional tickets.
Season tickets for each show will be held at the "Will Call" window at the Tower Box Office. Exchanges are allowed up to opening night. After opening night, no exchanges will be made.
The University Box Office is open Monday through Friday, 9:00 am-6:00 pm. The Tower Box Office is open 90 minutes prior to curtain time.
We reserve the right to resell any tickets that are not picked up 15 minutes before curtain. If this happens to a Season Ticket holder, then the Season Ticket holder may choose a different performance date at that point.
