CLEP Tests

The College-Level Examination Program (CLEP) allows students to gain college credit for knowledge that they have already acquired.

The Department of English and Modern Languages recommends that students who plan on a major or a minor in either English, Teaching English as a Second Language, Spanish, or French minor take the CLEP (College Level Examination Program) examination to receive college-level credit for foreign language proficiency that they may have developed either at home or through courses taken in upper-level high school courses.
