In March '99 we launched the Liberty University Debate Alumni Association(LUDAA) with the first edition of our newsletter Liberty Frontlines. The goal of the LUDAA is to connect alumni of the debate team to the team and to each other, to support the team's mission of education, competition and service, and to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ to the debate community.

While the Liberty Frontlines newsletter will be free for all friends and alumni, the LUDAA will charge membership fees which will be deposited (100%) into the debate endowment account to help underwrite scholarships for future debaters. Scholarships are critical to the competitiveness of our program as we use them to recruit against other major universities for advanced high school debaters and to reward debaters for their hard work at Liberty. Membership fees allow us to make regular deposits into the endowment account in addition to our special fundraisers.

Our future plans include providing a service to connect alumni with other former debaters and coaches and hosting special debate alumni functions at homecoming.
