Each year we look at ways to try to improve the web sites for The King's Players, The Schoiol of Communication, and the Department of Communication Studies. All you need to do is to complete a 60 minute training class on Web Manager. You do this work from your dorm room and set your own hours!
Receive Coms 388 Credit for Podcasting! Each weekend that we tour we record comments from those that view our productions. Experience with Garageband software is helpful. We will train.

If you like helping promote a ministry this practicum may interest you. Sending e-mails to churches, helping prepare posters, and e-mailing church bulletin inserts are just some of the tasks we need help with. This requires three hours a week at your own schedule, even from your own room. A brief weekly meeting with Dr. Allison is required.

Audio production: Each semester we need someone to prepare 15, 30, and 45 second radio spots to promote our services. We provide scripts and sound effects, you would produce the promos and burn them onto a CD
Video Production: Each semester we need someone to do a video project. This may involve both recording and editing work.
Receive Coms 388 credit for Costumes
If you enjoy working with costumes being our Costume Supervisor may be a practicum for you. You work when it is convenient for you at your own schedule. Thee hours a week for 15 weeks will give you the 45 hours you need to receive credit for this practicum. Our costumes are stored in the Vines Center. Responsibilities include cleaning, labeling, sorting, & organizing. You will also maintain an inventory of our costumes. The washing machine and dryer in the Vines Center means youi don't need to haul costumes very far to get the job done.
Receive Coms 388 for Directing! Work with junior high and high school teens. You will direct two skits that will be performed by the teens at Heritage Baptist Church. Rehearsal times are Sunday from 3:30 - 5:30.
