Meet the Team!!
The King's Players is a small select touring repertory company. Our purpose is to do ministry.  We will minister in numerous churches, detention homes, prisons, and Christian schools.

Small. We have one team consisting of six actors, eight actresses, one lighting console operator, and a sound console operator.
 
Select. Admission is by audition only.  We look for talented individuals with a heart to serve God.  While there are thousands of students on campus, only a select few will represent our Lord and Liberty University in this ministry.
 
Touring. Our ministry travels 2 weekends a month. Members will be engaged in eight ministry opportunities per month, allowing 2 weeks off for social life and work.

What Plays do The King’s Players do?
 
 Exciting Evangelistic Drama
    Final Departure is a suspense thriller that is a powerful evangelistic program. For the pure evangelistic outreach, this play is hard to beat!
           “Which Way”
 Combining terrific humor, and intense conflicts, this play is sure to touch the heart.
Over twenty Thousand people have given their life to Christ after seeing one of these productions.
 

Family Outings is a full length play designed to strengthen the family (60   minutes). 

We are pleased to announce that The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe will be available in the spring of 2010.  This dramatic presentation of C.S. Lewis’s popular novel, will delight your congregation. (60 minutes). 


Catacombs, is a story of faith, persecution, and survival.  It is an intense drama that asks believes what their faith really means to them.

Days of Glory will once again be offered in the spring of 2010.    This musical theatre spectacle follows the ministry of Jesus in the last seven days of his ministry. . You will witness the last supper, the Garden of Gethsemane, the trail before Caiaphas and Christ before Pilate. Witness the Crucifixion, the Resurrection, ande much more!

We want to do more than present a play or a skit.  We will use music, testimonies and drama to present a meaningful worship experience. 

The King's Players is the oldest ministry of Liberty University. The King's Players is Christian drama ministry. We are a touring repertory theatre company. On an average, we see 200 people a year come to know the Lord as their Savior. We schedule several youth services annually. Not only to conduct youth services but we disciple teens as well. In addition, we will minister in detention homes, prisons, Christian schools, and numerous churches. The ministry offers several programs. We want to do more than present a play or a skit.  We will use music, testimonies and drama to present a meaningful worship experience.   

The King's Players is the oldest ministry of Liberty University Actually, KP was organized and began touring in 1960 an another college before coming to Liberty in 1973.

Ministry to United States Military!

The King's Players minister for the United States Marines Corps at Parris Island, S.C. Six performances were given at Parris Island, one of the most demanding of the nation's military training camps, to over 4000 troops. Despite strong peer pressure, these men make a public profession of faith. Over 400 men and women accepted Christ as their personal savior! These soldiers then enrolled in a 10-week discipleship course.
