Tribeca Film Festival Public Relations Intern New York, New York -- Employee This year we seek 10-12 student interns for the winter/spring semester of 2010 (February-May) to work on the publicity efforts for our annual spring event: the Tribeca Film Festival, the international independent film forum held in Lower Manhattan (www.tribecafilmfestival.org). The internship is unpaid but college credit is encouraged, subject to school approval. Part- time schedules (2-3 days a week, Monday-Friday) can be arranged yet full work days are preferred. Hours are generally 9:00 AM-5:00 PM on weekdays with additional after-hours/weekend work required at formal events during the 10-day Festival. Duties include: research; tracking press breaks; compiling media clips; data entry; staffing on-site press office; and assisting with press screenings, award ceremonies and red carpet premieres. |

Spring Internship Texas, Austin -- Employee Elizabeth Christian & Associates Public Relations (ECPR) offers an extensive internship program. Internship opportunities are typically given to four students per semester. Most interns are college seniors majoring in public relations or related fields and all are included in challenging assignments and client work. ECPR internships are not paid, but do meet requirements for class credit. Interns typically work 10 - 15 hours per week in blocks of time (i.e. MWF 8:30 -1:30 or 12:30 - 5:30 OR TTH 8:30 - 1:30 or 12:30 - 5:30). It is important for the intern to commit to the internship for the entire semester. Paid parking is provided. Interns perform such tasks as: creating media lists, coordinating research projects, providing event assistance, tracking and clipping news coverage, writing and editing press materials, distributing news releases, assembling media kits and various administrative duties.
