Congratulations are on the horizon! Seniors must request a degree completion audit to have their degree conferred (see the link Month-by-Month Checklist below). They must also confirm their intent (RSVP) to participate at Commencement. If your student finishes their degree at any point during the year, they may apply to walk at Commencement in the spring.

The Parent & Family Session is our opportunity to help you transition to being a college family at Liberty. You can meet with various student services at a tabling activity prior to the session that may be key to your student’s success. Topics concerning accommodations, student health, diet, voter registration, counseling, and more will be on-hand.

During the session, campus leadership address the first semester questions and pray over your semester together as LU Family.

Parents are welcome to attend any activities during Welcome Week!

Your student’s well-being at Liberty is more than academics. We are committed to caring for all that comprises who they are in the Lord including their emotional, mental, physical, social, and spiritual health.

Family and guardians are welcome to visit any weekend but be sure to schedule ahead with your student because their course assignments, group projects, and exams have due dates. You want your visit to encourage them and strengthen their resiliency to keep pressing forward!
