The School of Business at Liberty University offers a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. The Accounting major includes 38 hours of accounting courses, 26 hours of business and economics courses, and elective hours. You are encouraged to use your elective hours wisely by taking courses to enhance your communication and technical skills. The degree program has a 120 hour requirement. 

In addition to the Bachelor of Science in Accounting, the School of Business also offers a Master of Science in Accounting, which provides students 30 hours of graduate accounting and business courses enabling them to meet the 150 hour academic requirement to sit for the CPA exam.

Accountants need a broad-based education to examine and report on financial and management activities. The academics training you receive at Liberty University will prepare you to recognize problems and be able to develop solutions quickly.
