Dr. Martin has taught at the college, seminary, and graduate school level since 1990. He came to Liberty University in 2002. He is also the author of various articles and book chapters covering such topics as the problem of evil, empiricism, the remarkable renaissance of Christian philosophy in the 20th century, and suffering and soul-making. His concentrations include Metaphysics, Philosophy of Religion, and History of Modern Philosophy, with special interest in the evidential problem of evil, C. S. Lewis studies, and astronomy and cosmology. He has been invited to speak at various colleges and universities, including Concordia University, Lynchburg College, and the Greek Bible Institute in Athens, Greece. Dr. Martin is currently doing research on Kant and the cosmo-teleological argument (also known as the fine-tuning argument). He is married and has been blessed with two beautiful children, three cats, two guitars and one ukulele.
