Dr. Gary Habermas has taught at the college, seminary, and graduate school level since 1976. He came to Liberty University in 1981. He is also an author or editor of some 37 books, of which 18 are on the subject of Jesus' resurrection. Other published subjects include religious doubt, personal suffering, and near-death experiences. Among these books are The Historical Jesus (College Press, 1996), Beyond Death (with J.P. Moreland, Crossway, 1998), and The Case for the Resurrection of Jesus (with Michael Licona, Kregel, 2004). He has also contributed more than sixty chapters or articles to additional books, plus has published well over 100 articles or reviews in journals and other publications. During the past fifteen years or so, he has been a Visiting or Adjunct Professor at about 15 different graduate schools and seminaries in the US and abroad, where he has taught about 40 other courses. Gary is married to Eileen and they have seven children and eleven grandchildren, all but one of whom currently live in Lynchburg, VA.
