"Hey Everyone! My name is Michael Kerr and I have the privilege of serving as President of the Liberty University Marching Band: The Spirit of the Mountain. I am a Senior Music Education and Performance Major from Forest, Virginia and I have been playing the trumpet for about 11 years now. Along with Marching Band, I have participated in Liberty University’s Wind Ensemble for the past 3 years. I have also spent the last two summers touring with the Cadets Drum and Bugle Corps. When I actually do find free time between the Cadets, Band, and school, I love to run and read. I also like to perform at Thomas Road Baptist Church for Sunday morning worship. I can’t wait to have a great 2013 season with you all! I look forward to the hard work, fellowship, and memories we’ll share! "

"I am a country girl from the great state of Texas but Dinwiddie Virginia is now my home. During the 6th grade, music became my dream and after attending a camp that summer I was ready for Liberty.  Since then, God has allowed me to do great things and He’s given me a passion to serve and help children and I am now perusing a degree in music education. I am so blessed to have a loving family who supports me and my dreams as well as a wonderful boyfriend and awesome friends. When I’m not studying, practicing trombone, or marching I enjoy sewing, taking photos, watching scary movies, and playing tennis. This year is going to be very exciting and I am looking forward to meeting everyone. Boneheadz 2013!!!!"
