Mrs. Granger has served on the voice faculty since 1984 and as Vocal Coordinator since 1986. She holds a B. A. in Voice and Piano from Hollins University (1977), and a Master of Vocal Performance from James Madison University (1983). She has done post graduate work at Westminster Choir College of Ryder University, University of Delaware, and Belmont University.

A mezzo-soprano, Mrs. Granger has performed extensively in opera, oratorio, musical theater in Southwest and Central Virginia. She is much in demand as an accompanist for both student and faculty recitals. She is a long-standing member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing.

As Vocal Coordinator, Mrs. Granger is the principal contact for prospective students seeking information about the voice area in the Department of Music and Humanities.
