Dr. Samuel Wellman has been teaching at Liberty University since 1992. Currently he serves as Professor of Music, teaching courses in music theory, choral arranging, music fundamentals, and private piano. He holds a B.A. from Lenoir Rhyne College and M. M. and D. M. degrees from Florida State University. Dr. Wellman is a nationally recognized composer and adjudicator having published over 1000 musical works.  He is also recognized in the local area for his exceptional sight-reading skills and his ability to accompany the most difficult repertoire with relative ease.
