Projects/University Service:

  • Dr. Hardin is currently working on editing Spanish language textbooks, revising a manuscript for publication, and managing the conversion of the LUE programs to a one-hundred percent Spanish format. 


Dr. Hardin started teaching for Liberty University Online in 2010. She is currently Department Chair for History in the College of General Studies and is also director of Liberty University en Español. 

Dr. Hardin has taught a wide variety of courses throughout her career, including Religion in Latin America, Latin American History, History of the Middle East, the Arab-Israeli Conflict, and many general education courses. Her dissertation focused on family history in Independence -Era Guadalajara, Mexico. She earned her Ph.D. from Florida State University in 2006.

Dr. Hardin helps train graduate students to be effective online instructors. She also leads overseas study tours for students. She remains active in several professional organizations through conference presentations. 

Most recently, Dr. Hardin has taken on the conversion of the bilingual Liberty University en Español program to a one-hundred percent Spanish format. 

Dr. Hardin and her family reside in Lynchburg, Va.
