Projects/University Service:

  • Dr. Hardin is currently developing a U.S. History Study Tour for our online history students.
  • She also serves on thesis and dissertation committees as well as the Core Competencies Committee.

 

Dr. Hardin started teaching for Liberty University Online in 2010.  She is currently Department Chair for History in the College of General Studies.

Dr. Hardin has taught a wide variety of courses throughout her career, including Religion in Latin America, Latin American History, History of the Middle East, the Arab-Israeli Conflict, and many general education courses as well.  Her dissertation focused on family history in Independence -Era Guadalajara, Mexico.  She earned her Ph.D. from Florida State University in 2006.

Most recently, Dr. Hardin has taken on primarily administrative duties in the management of Liberty University’s online history programs.  She resides in Lynchburg, VA with her family.
