North Carolina
The Licensed Professional Counselors Association of North Carolina (LPCANC)
The LPCANC is the professional association for licensed professional counselors in North Carolina and promotes the development of LPCs through professional excellence and advocacy. LPCANC provides a voice for public policy, directs the activities of our professional lobbyist, and responds to the continuing education needs of LPCs in North Carolina.
LPCANC supports future LPCs in their counseling graduate studies through their Nancy Howell Scholarship Program, the student poster session at their annual conference, and their mentorship program for recent graduates.
While the LPCANC has many opportunities for students to get involved with their association, they do not keep a database of possible practicum or internship sites for students or match students with practicum or internship sites.
