Aeronautics majors will choose from three specializations: Missionary aviation, Commercial aviation, and Military aviation.
The Liberty University Aviation Department is an FAA 141 approved flight school.
For those not enrolled in the Bachelor of Science program, flight training may, student load permitting, be taken in the Liberty University FAA Part 141 flight school which offers private pilot, instrument pilot, commercial pilot, and certified flight instructor training.
