
Lamp is a bi-annual literary journal which publishes poetry, fiction, and essays from both current and former students of Liberty University. The publication exists as an outlet for thoughtful and engaging work which stimulates readers in the University, as well as the general community.
Send any inquiries or work in a doc., docx., or html file format. Please put the genre of your submission in the subject line of the email in order for the quickest response.
REQUIREMENTS/LIMITS
Fiction: 3,500 words or less
Creative Non-fiction: 3,500 words or less
Poetry: 3 poems or less
We do accept flash fiction (500 words or less)
Deadline for submission: December 5, 2012
ART/PHOTO:
Note: We go to press in black and white only. Make sure your art submissions are not only acceptable in black and white, but best in black and white.
Submissions need to be:
300 dpi resolution
No larger than 5.5 in. by 8.5 in.
.jpeg format
Black and White/Gray-scale images ONLY
We are accepting:
Digital artwork
Studio art
Photography
Sculpture and ceramics
*If your art is not digital, you will need to take a high quality photograph of the work and submit that instead.
