Since its humble beginnings in 1971, Liberty University has grown with intention, purpose, and boldness, building a foundation for sustainable achievement and a proud Liberty Flames legacy. Liberty is the largest private, nonprofit, four-year college in the country, the nation’s fifth largest university, and the largest college in Virginia. Liberty’s School of Aeronautics is unique among other school of aviation programs.

In the past ten years, the School of Aeronautics has grown from four students to more than four hundred in the accredited, FAA-certified aviation program, making it one of the top two largest Christian aviation schools in America. While most colleges with aviation programs focus on academics, Liberty School of Aeronautics focuses on its mission of Training Champions for Christ.
