I think in today's electronic and fast paced society it is a wonderful and thoughtful idea to hand write a short thank you note. While I am not putting down use of electronic communication, I just think it means more when someone receives a paper envelope with a hand written message inside. It shows you took time to recognize them.

Thank you for the verse ideas for thank you notes. I always like to incorporate scripture into messages to family members and friends and those are great suggestions for a 'thank you' note. Also, I am definitely in agreement that when you say thank you to someone, it can go a long way. Something so simple can mean more to the person receiving it than we think.

Thank you for the verse suggestions! I will use them on my Christmas cards to my not-so-believing family members. God bless!

I thank God every day for giving me understanding. I thank him for giving me the ability to make intricate problems of life, going easy on my hands, so I can help others.

The Thank you note is a wonderful idea. When I worked at the V.A. hospital as a Housekeeping Aid I was honored by a nurse with a starfish. It was a photocopy of a starfish that says on the back to share with someone that has made a difference in your life. It blessed my heart and still does. A heartfelt note really does make a difference.
